It’s that time of year again…
Today my roommate Catherine and I took some time out of our busy day of (not) studying to decorate our room for Christmas! Justin Beiber’s Christmas song Mistletoe has really got us in the Christmas mood! Yesterday Catherine went into Eastbourne and got some wrapping paper which we used to cover our entire door! She also bought some snowflake window stickers which make our room nice and festive. We spent a few hours today making paper snowflakes to add to the decorations. I built what Catherine calls ‘the mother of all snowflakes’ to hang on the door. I learnt on the internet today, and I was quite impressed as to how it turned out, seeing as how I have no artistic talent!
next; a mini christmas tree?

Happy Halloween from Herstmonceux!
Castle dance was lots of fun (even sober). Costumes were really creative too…EBL, the Pope, sexy Jesus…
can’t wait to go all out next year in Kingston
Dieppe was an amazing day out! We explored the saturday morning market and bought some yummy foods: macaroons, baguette, brie, salami, honey cake it was all delicious. Speaking french with the vendors was an exciting challenge…makes me want to learn more! This picture was taken from the castle, up at the top of the hill. It was where the Germans set up their firing spot when the allies tried to take Dieppe. This city has so much history and culture, i loved it. I definitely hope to go back soon!
